Our mission at daarna is to disrupt and dismantle dominant, exclusionary practices in design and our built environment and make tangible contributions towards a liberated world. We seek to collectively apply the knowledge of our professional and personal practices to dismantle all systems of oppression. We are actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with like minded people to liberate our built environment one project at a time.
This is an open invite to work in collaboration with us! If you have a project that you are interested in applying to but are in need of 501c3 status, project mentorship, partnership, or technical assistance please fill out this form. A daarna team member will be in touch!

We are looking to collaborate on projects in all of our service areas: architecture, urban planning, storytelling, archiving, political education, community engagement and public art. As we build infrastructure for community and resistance it is critical that collaborations identify shared values and principles for internal accountability and use those principles as a roadmap in the built environment field to disrupt cultures and practices of colonialism, white supremacy, patriarchy, and ableism embedded within design education and built environment professional practice. A collaboration with daarna requires collaborators to sign on to our Partnership Principles, please review and sign on if you feel aligned.
